2. What data we collect and why

We only process the data you give us voluntarily through the contact form: name and surname, email address, phone number (optional) and the content of your message.

Purpose: to answer your enquiry and, where applicable, to handle your interest in opening a stall in the market. We do not use your data to send you marketing communications unless you expressly authorise us to.

3. Legal basis

Processing is based on your consent, given when you submit the form (article 6.1.a of the GDPR), and on the controller's legitimate interest in replying to the enquiries received.

4. Data retention

We keep your data for as long as is necessary to deal with your enquiry and, afterwards, for the periods legally required to address any liabilities. Once that period has passed, the data is deleted.

5. Recipients

We do not pass your data on to third parties, except where legally required. The data is stored on the servers of our web hosting provider, with whom we hold the corresponding data processing agreement.

6. Your rights

You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability at any time by writing to mercadomunicipalbarakaldo@gmail.com and stating which right you wish to exercise. If you believe the processing does not comply with the regulations, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).

7. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or alteration. The site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS).

8. Minors

The contact form is intended for people over the age of 14. If you are younger than that, please ask your mother, father or guardian to get in touch with us.
