Baserriko Fruta-Denda is one of the market's founding stalls: it has been here since 1931, the same year the building opened. Today it is run by the family's third generation.
Much of the fruit and veg you will see on the counter is grown by the family themselves, picked in their own market garden and brought straight to the stall. The rest is chosen by the same standard: in season, grown nearby and ripe at just the right moment.
